The Best Products of 2024

Here’s everything I just cannot live without from 2024. While not all of these gems were launched in 2024, they certainly caught my eye and worked wonders on my clients’ hair. From game-changing products to innovative tools, these are the essentials that have helped me slay my hair game all year long.

this has to be the lightest, most airy shampoo set i’ve ever used. I also got this one for free at the hair convention but, I only got a travel size and used it in EXCESS because it smells so damn good. You don’t have to do that, though. A pea size amount will yield a lather that the foam parties of 2014 would envy.

It’s so cool too because the company linked up with an olive oil company so some of the ingredients are derived from what doesn’t get used during olive oil production. so it’s like, vegan AND recycled. Wild right?

I’ve used a couple of different humidity sealants, but this one? ItItss all that matters. It manages to be incredibly lightweight to the point that it is indiscernible from water. Like, I have 0 issues using this on literally ANY hair type. Which is significant because, most others leave you unable or extremely cautious to add any other product.

This is a cocktailing DREAM, almost like it's laminating your hair the second you put a dryer to it.

So technically this one ISN’T a humidity sealant, its a treatment; all that stuff I said about the previous product still stands.

Smooth Over is different in that you’re gonna rinse it out and I absolutely would not recommend it for anyone with super fine, or thin hair. I use this for my coarse girlies and those that are in danger of curl reversion when in contact with water, not just humidity.

This will take your curly to straight, blown out, silk pressed, and even worn curly hair, to the frizz fighting M A X. She’s a keeper and I’ve started including this in your silk press service for free. You’re welcome, Pookie. <3

This is so luxurious I can’t even begin to explain how good it feels, smells, and looks on the hair. When you spray it it’s almost as if you’ve crushed up little pearls and sprinkled it onto the worlds most velvety velvet.

My only complaint is that even in the pro-stores, it only comes in one size. Clearly I need a barrel or two, Miss Kenra.

You know how there are those products marketed towards laziness and geared towards men? The 3N1 shampoo, conditioner, and waste of money products? This ain’t one of ‘em.

I love it when a product does two things, and it makes sense that it would do those two things. This bad boy defines the absolute hell out of curls while simultaneously lifting them closer to heaven.

Minimal cast, super light weight, and a generous amount in a can. I don’t even know if I’ve had to buy another yet and I use this on a vast majority of my curly clients.

This isn’t the exact same brush I use for my blowouts but it checks all the boxes.

I’m looking for both short, natural and longer plastic bristles to get that extra grip and shine. Those bristles also need to be extremely dense. Some of the brushes I have are even more dense than this one but this is fantastic!

You also want a ceramic or metal barrel, not wood or cork, though they do feel better in your hands. The handle can be whatever but if that barrel isn’t going to radiate heat, you’re not getting smooth and shiny.

When I first got this I used it on my beard and thought it was great but not all that. But then I tried it out on a client before her blowout and MY GOD. Talk about silky smooth. She had been a bit over processed from some at home color and this got her together REAL fast.

This is definitely a super powered product you want in your shower if you get intense color done. Intense meaning anything involving bleach.
